Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor Procedures
Sam Houston Sanders Corps of Cadets Center has reserved a special place at the north end of the Hall to recognize Corps Hall of Honor award recipients. Each year a number of former students will be selected by a committee to receive this special award. Honorees will be recognized during a formal induction ceremony. Plaques will be mounted on large panels at the Sam Houston Corps of Cadets Center to depict the life and likeness of each recipient.

In order to be eligible for the Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor, the nominee must:

  • Be a former student at Texas A&M.
  • Have served in the Corps of Cadets for at least two years, unless unable for reasons beyond the individual’s control (e.g., WW II military service, etc.)
  • Have a distinguished and impeccable record of service and work since leaving Texas A&M.
  • Be one who takes great pride in his/her Corps of Cadets experience.
  • Be one who has remained forever loyal to the Corps of Cadets and Texas A&M and demonstrated it in recognizable ways.
  • Be of the highest character.
  • Has brought the highest credit upon himself/herself, the Corps of Cadets and Texas A&M.
  • The following is a partial list of the characteristics that exemplify the “Fightin’ Texas Aggie Spirit” and the values upon which the Corps was founded:
