About the Texas Aggie Band Association

The Texas Aggie Band Association (TABA) was formed in 1966. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the primary purpose of supporting the FTAB and the current Aggie Band Cadets. The TABA Officers and Board of Directors are all strictly volunteer positions. With the generous contributions from its membership base, the TABA funds the following on a yearly basis:

Scholarships for band cadets (via the Texas A&M Foundation)
Fish practice t-shirts & travel polos
Tutoring reimbursement as needed
Band Spring Formal (aka BQ Ball)
Junior band sweaters
Senior Dinner & Awards
Shares the cost of the Texas Aggie Band Show equally with the CCA and the Association of Former Students
Provides direct financial aid as requested to the Office of the Director of Bands

Eternal Aggie Band Endowment

The Eternal Aggie Band Fund was created in 1993-94 in celebration of the 100^th anniversary of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. Funds (interest off the account) are at the discretion of the band director and are used to fund needs related to the Aggie Band not covered by their budget. Donors that contribute $1000 or more are recognized with their names etched on the Eternal Aggie Band Wall located in the MAC.
