The Corps of Cadets Marksmanship Unit (CCMU), established in 2011, has rapidly grown into the nation's premier collegiate shooting team. Since its inception, the team has captured an impressive 19 national championships, consistently outperforming the nation's military academies and setting the standard for collegiate marksmanship excellence.

The CCMU competes in a variety of disciplines, including combat pistol, precision rifle, 3-Gun competitions, and SWAT/law enforcement tactical events. These demanding competitions require exceptional technical skill, mental discipline, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Composed of just 35 cadets ranging from freshmen to seniors, membership on the CCMU is highly competitive. Once a cadet earns a place on the team, the goal is for them to remain a member throughout their Corps experience, developing their skills while mentoring the next generation of teammates.

The Corps of Cadets Marksmanship Unit is far more than a competitive shooting team. It is an elite organization of highly trained, disciplined, and precise cadets who embody the leadership, professionalism, and values of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. Whether representing the Corps in national competition or serving as ambassadors for Texas A&M, CCMU members exemplify excellence, honor, and unwavering commitment to their team and university.
